What we collect
What you send us. When you use our forms, we collect what you enter. The free website form asks for your name, business name, email, phone number and type of business, and whether you're interested in the 24-Hour Launch. The custom project form also asks what you need, your current website and anything else you'd like us to know. The info sheet asks about your business: your services, service area, how customers should reach you, your story and links to your photos and profiles.
Draft website requests. We sometimes build a draft website for a local business and email a picture of its homepage. If you ask to see the full site, a short form asks for your name, phone number, email address and business name, and records which draft you asked for. If you reply with changes, photos or a logo, we keep those so we can make the changes.
How we find a business's email. For these emails we use a business contact address we found in public sources, such as the business's own website or public profile, or got from the business directly. Each email says how to stop them.
Basic site data. Our website host, Cloudflare, processes standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested to deliver and protect the site. Our request form runs on Wix Forms, and to make it work your browser stores a temporary visitor token.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, build your free website and any quote, and talk with you about your project. After you claim a free website, we email you the info sheet link. If we don't hear back, we may send up to 3 short reminders over about 9 days; they stop once you send the info sheet, and you can reply "stop" to any of them (or email [email protected]) and we won't email you again. If we emailed you a draft website, we use your details to send you the private link, make your requested changes and answer your questions. Reply "stop" to any of our emails and we won't email you again. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are stored in our Wix account. You can read how Wix handles data in the Wix Privacy Policy, and how Cloudflare handles site traffic in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to respond to you and for normal business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time. Draft websites are private and are not listed in search engines. We take down a draft that nobody keeps, usually within 30 to 60 days.
